Maybe it's that I'm not at an orientation. Or that I'm really on my own this week not answering to anyone. But this whole business travel thing does not make me want to do it again. This hotel might be the most depressing thing I've ever seen. Tons of dudes walking around in Business casual and milling about to and from meetings or complimentary meals. Yikes. Maybe its the area? Nothing in this area would make anyone want to visit this place. It's an office park extravaganza. Even the residences look like office parks. I see no personality, no fun and all commerce, everywhere. Blah. Get me home soon. Or get me drunk. Something. The do have free wine with the complimentary light fare dinner in the lobby area. Sweet. I need to go find those recommendations that I got for food. I know there is something good about this area, I just have to talk to the people that know it.
Anyway, I'm probably just lonely, as this is the first time veri and I have been apart in quite a while. In fact I can't remember the last time.
